Carnival in Ecuador

FOOD

Ambato celebrates the carnival with one of the biggest festivities that is "The Festival of Flowers and Fruits" where the most known typical dishes are:

Llapingachos

The one dish consisting of egg, potato, tanned, avocado and sausage.

Pinllo bread

Bread that is stuffed with delicacies, known to use lard to make it.

TRADITIONAL COSTUMES 

The costume or the typical costumes used in the parade that is performed, colorful costumes representative of flowers and fruits.

DANCE

Popular dances are practiced such as La Pera Madura, La Rondaría Ambateña and La Fiesta Retro.

MUSIC

Generally, music from the "popular", national, folkloric locality is used.

Brazilian Fricasé

TRADITIONAL COSTUMES

The suit worn by the women who dance samba accompanying the floats is as striking as it is small. The rules for parading in the Rio Sambadrome are that the thong of the suit can not measure less than four centimeters.
